Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic specializing in European vehicles to join our service team. You'll have the chance to work on an exciting mix of classic and modern European cars, using advanced diagnostic equipment while applying hands-on mechanical expertise. Mechanics are expected to own their own tools, and we offer a tool allowance / tuition to purchase new tools as part of a competitive compensation package. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced diagnostic tools, electrical systems knowledge, and schematics to accurately identify vehicle issues. Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of systems including engines, transmissions, powertrain, suspension, steering, braking, and electrical components. Service both classic and late-model European vehicles, ensuring repairs meet manufacturer specifications. Repair or replace components such as shocks & struts, tires, wheel alignments, and related mechanical systems. Perform oil changes, fluid services, and scheduled maintenance to maintain optimal vehicle performance. Effectively use hand tools and power tools for repairs, installations, and diagnostics. Interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems. Perform specialized services such as ADAS calibration and other advanced repair procedures as needed. Maintain accurate and detailed repair documentation and communicate clearly with service advisors and customers regarding findings and recommendations. Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards. Qualifications Proven experience as an automotive mechanic, preferably with European vehicle brands (BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, VW, etc.). ASE certification strongly preferred. Strong diagnostic and mechanical knowledge across engines, transmissions, electrical systems, suspension, brakes, alignments, and general automotive repair. Experience working on both classic and modern vehicles is highly valued. Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools. Ability to read and understand technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship. Customer-focused mindset with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred. Must own personal tools; tool purchase assistance / tuition is offered as part of the compensation package.
