Your mechanical skills and automotive knowledge will be vital in delivering top-tier service, whether working on gas-powered or diesel engines, transmissions, or electrical systems. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain systems. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and replacements while adhering to safety standards. Service ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and auto body repairs to meet modern vehicle requirements. Work with diesel engines and perform specialized repairs involving air brake systems and welding when necessary. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and auto estimating software to ensure precise repairs aligned with manufacturer specifications. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings for each vehicle serviced. Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and providing maintenance advice. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience in a fast-paced automotive environment. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical systems, suspension, and brakes. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics tools and schematics interpretation for accurate troubleshooting. Skilled in diesel engine repair, transmission work, wheel alignment, tire service, shocks & struts replacement, and auto body repair. Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair machinery safely. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Familiarity with auto estimating software for parts ordering and repair planning is advantageous.
