Job Summary Join our dynamic automotive team as an Automotive Mechanic, where your expertise will drive vehicle performance and customer satisfaction! In this energetic role, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and optimal operation. Your mechanical skills and passion for automotive repair will help keep our customers on the road with confidence. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and overhaul various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspensions, brakes, steering components, and electrical systems. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacements, and suspension repairs to maintain vehicle safety and performance. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks while adhering to safety standards. Servicing diesel engines is a plus but not required. Be able to work on ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) to ensure modern vehicle features operate flawlessly. Assist with auto body repairs and welding as needed to restore vehicle integrity and appearance. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating tasks, and communicate effectively with customers about repair needs and timelines. Requirements Proven mechanic experience with dealership or automotive repair shop background preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicles including American and European vehicles. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, schematics reading, and electrical systems troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, air brake systems, transmissions, oil changes, wheel alignments, tire service, shocks & struts, brake repair, and powertrain maintenance. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment and other automotive repair tools safely and efficiently. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems along with general auto body repair skills is a plus. Dealership experience is highly desirable; excellent customer service skills are essential for providing top-tier support to clients. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ASE certification or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
