TECHNICIAN

Rux Auto Garage is looking for qualified automotive technicians with proven professional experience. We are seeking a seasoned mechanic who can diagnose with precision, perform repairs efficiently and accurately, and confidently manage multiple jobs. Strong people skills and a positive attitude are essential. The right candidate must be self-driven, dependable, and professional , with the ability to clearly explain repairs, build trust with customers, and handle customer questions professionally. Required Qualifications Strong diagnostic skills using traditional and computerized diagnostic equipment Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship Excellent communication and customer service skills Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset Must have your own tools Diesel knowledge and experience is a plus ASE certifications are a plus Required Skills Advanced Diagnostics — Traditional & Computerized Engine Performance & Driveability Engine Repair & Replacement Transmission Diagnosis & Replacement Cooling System Repair A/C Diagnosis & Repair — R-134a & R-1234yf experience preferred Brake Systems Steering & Suspension Wheel Bearings & Driveline Repairs Tire Mounting & Balancing Hunter Wheel Alignments Emissions Systems Vehicle Road Testing Preventive Maintenance Services Diesel repair and diagnostic knowledge is a plus Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns accurately and efficiently Perform repairs according to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices Thoroughly inspect vehicles and identify additional maintenance or safety concerns Complete repair orders with accurate documentation and detailed technician notes Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to verify proper operation Communicate findings and repair recommendations professionally with service advisors and customers Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Stay current with new vehicle technology and repair procedures Schedule, Pay & Benefits Full-time, Monday through Friday Weekends OFF — enjoy time with your family Hourly pay Pay increases based on productivity and performance Paid major holidays starting
