Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks, heavy equipment, trailers and fleet vehicles to keep them operating safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and routine service on diesel trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, and fleet vehicles. Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment. Complete inspections and recommend necessary repairs. Perform welding and fabrication as needed (preferred but not required). Maintain accurate service and maintenance records. Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform field repairs when necessary. Keep the shop clean, organized, and follow all company safety procedures. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic preferred. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, heavy equipment, and fleet maintenance. Experience with diagnostic software and repair procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions. Requirements Must provide your own basic mechanic's tools. Must have a dependable work ethic and reliable transportation. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check (if applicable). Valid Driver's License Required; Class A CDL is a Plus What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience. Pay:
$25.00 - $45.00 per hour
