The ideal candidate is reliable, productive, works well with a team, and is able to properly diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle concerns. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and automotive repairs Complete brake system repairs and replacements Perform suspension and steering repairs Perform oil changes, fluid services, tune-ups, and other preventative maintenance Diagnose common mechanical concerns Perform vehicle inspections and identify needed repairs Complete cooling system and other general automotive repairs Use diagnostic and shop equipment properly and safely Accurately communicate repair findings to the service team Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company and shop safety procedures Qualifications Previous professional automotive repair experience required 2-4+ years of automotive technician experience preferred Must be comfortable completing repairs with limited supervision Strong knowledge of brakes, suspension, steering, maintenance, and general automotive repair Basic diagnostic ability required Ability to properly use automotive diagnostic and repair equipment Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Must be dependable and able to maintain consistent attendance Must be able to work well in a fast-paced team environment Own basic automotive tools preferred ASE certifications are a plus, but not required What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is beyond the entry-level stage and can confidently handle the majority of everyday automotive repairs.
