Full Job Description Used Car Technician Job Details Pay Structure:

$33.80-$36.00 Competitive hourly/flat-rate structure plus production bonus options (commensurate with experience).

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturday shifts.

What You Will Do Multi-Point Inspections:

Thoroughly inspect incoming used cars, trucks, and SUVs of all makes and models.

Diagnostics:

Troubleshoot and pinpoint mechanical and electrical issues accurately.

Full-Scale Repairs:

Perform high-quality repairs on brakes, suspensions, steering alignment, engines, and drivetrains.

Routine Maintenance:

Complete oil changes, fluid flushes, tire rotations, and general tune-ups.

Safety Certification:

Ensure every pre-owned vehicle meets safety and quality standards before moving to the retail lot. [1, 2, 4]

What We Need From You Experience:

5+ years of automotive repair experience across multiple vehicle brands.

Tools:

Your own set of standard professional technician tools.

License:

A valid California driver's license with a clean DMV record.

Knowledge:

Demonstrated ability working on varied domestic, Asian, and European vehicle architectures.

Certifications:

ASE certifications or factory training are highly preferred but not required.
