Automotive Service Advisor Wise Auto Group - 2.8 Vallejo, CA Job Details Full-time 3 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Experience working in the automotive repair industry Full Job Description Experienced Automotive Service Advisor - Vallejo Hyundai Vallejo Hyundai is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing Service Department. We are seeking a motivated, professional, and customer-focused individual who understands how to deliver an excellent service experience while maximizing sales opportunities and maintaining strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate has prior dealership service advisor experience, is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and knows how to effectively communicate recommended maintenance and repairs to customers. Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and professionally and identify their service needs. Write accurate repair orders and document customer concerns. Communicate clearly with technicians regarding vehicle concerns and recommended repairs. Review inspection results and confidently present maintenance and repair recommendations to customers. Provide accurate estimates and keep customers updated throughout the repair process. Obtain customer authorization before completing additional work. Maintain strong Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) performance. Follow up with customers regarding declined services and future maintenance needs. Work closely with technicians, parts personnel, and management to keep repair orders moving efficiently. Ensure repair orders are properly documented and completed before closing. Handle customer concerns professionally and work toward a positive resolution. Build long-term relationships that increase customer retention and repeat business. Meet department goals for sales, customer-pay labor, maintenance penetration, and overall performance. Qualifications Previous automotive dealership Service Advisor experience required. Hyundai or other manufacturer dealership experience is a plus. Strong understanding of automotive maintenance and repair terminology. Proven ability to sell recommended maintenance and repair services. Excellent communication and customer-service skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Comfortable handling multiple customers and repair orders simultaneously. Professional appearance and attitude. Ability to work effectively in a high-volume dealership environment. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. What We're Looking For We want an advisor who is experienced, accountable, competitive, and customer-focused . This position is ideal for someone who takes ownership of their customers, understands the importance of follow-up, and wants an opportunity to build a strong book of business. We are looking for someone who can balance customer satisfaction with production and profitability while working as part of a team. Schedule Full-time position. Availability to work dealership hours, including Saturdays as scheduled, is required.
