Victorville, CA Job Details Full-time From $16.90 an hour 10 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Opportunities for advancement Qualifications In-person customer service Driver's License Driving Full Job Description Quick Lane Lube Technician High Desert Ford is seeking a dependable Quick Lane Lube Technician to perform oil changes, filter replacements, multipoint inspections, and other routine vehicle-maintenance services. The technician will provide prompt, accurate service while protecting customers' vehicles and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication services, and multipoint vehicle inspections. Identify and report additional vehicle maintenance or repair needs. Complete assigned services accurately and efficiently. Maintain customer vehicles in clean condition throughout the service process. Notify management of substandard processes, parts, equipment, or procedures. Operate shop equipment and move customer vehicles safely. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area. Follow applicable OSHA, EPA, company safety, and environmental requirements. Provide professional and courteous customer service. Demonstrate dependable attendance, integrity, teamwork, and professionalism. Assist and support other employees when needed. Perform other job-related duties assigned by management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Approximately one year of experience as a technician assistant, apprentice, or lube technician preferred. Ability to drive vehicles with a manual transmission. Valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record. Ability to safely operate vehicles, tools, and shop equipment. State inspection license preferred, if applicable. Commitment to safety, quality, dependability, and customer service.
Physical Requirements:
Work is primarily performed in an automotive shop environment. Regular exposure to noise, dust, odors, fumes, chemicals, adhesives, and varying weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Regularly required to stand, sit, bend, reach, communicate, and use hands to operate tools and equipment. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must possess the visual ability necessary to safely inspect, service, and operate vehicles and equipment.
