This position requires a strong commitment to quality workmanship, efficiency, and continuous professional development while ensuring every vehicle is repaired correctly the first time. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Mercedes-Benz vehicles in accordance with factory standards. Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle concerns. Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs efficiently and correctly. Perform multi-point inspections and identify recommended maintenance or repair needs. Document repair findings and technician notes clearly and accurately. Maintain productivity while achieving quality and efficiency goals. Utilize Mercedes-Benz diagnostic equipment and service information. Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area. Collaborate with Service Advisors, Parts Department personnel, and fellow technicians to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Qualifications We're looking for professionals who take pride in their craftsmanship and are committed to delivering exceptional quality. Preferred Qualifications Previous dealership technician experience Mercedes-Benz experience preferred Mercedes-Benz Star Certification is a plus ASE Certifications are a plus Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to efficiently perform maintenance and major repairs Excellent attention to detail Strong organizational and time-management skills Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record Previous professional automotive repair experience Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles independently Own professional hand tools (specialty tools provided by dealership where applicable) Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced shop environment Basic computer proficiency and ability to use digital inspection and repair systems
Compensation Expected Annual Earnings:
$80,000-$200,000+ Compensation is based on a competitive flat-rate pay plan. In accordance with California law, minimum wage is paid for applicable non-productive duties and rest periods.
