Job Description

Job Overview:
Kill Switch Automotive is a family-owned, ASE-certified auto repair shop in La Salle, CO, built on honesty, transparency, and putting people first. We deliver straightforward, high-quality repairs without the pressure or guessing games of larger chains. We're looking for energetic, upbeat technicians and mechanics with a positive attitude who take pride in solving tough problems the right way for our customers. If you value doing quality work, continuous learning, and being part of a close-knit team that treats customers (and each other) with respect, we'd like to hear from you. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Use your knowledge and skills to accurately diagnose and repair vehicles for our customers Continuously build experience as an automotive technician across a wide range of domestic and foreign makes and models Complete thorough, accurate, and honest vehicle inspections Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization Communicate clearly with the service team about findings and concerns Collaborate with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver excellent results
Qualifications:
Positive attitude and a genuine desire to serve customers Experience as an automotive technician/mechanic ASE Certifications preferred, or a clear plan and willingness to achieve them Ability to diagnose and repair a wide variety of vehicles Meet or exceed productivity expectations Aptitude for learning new skills, tools, and processes Professional appearance and strong communication skills Interest in long-term career growth with a local, family-run shop Must provide your own basic tools, including wrenches, sockets, and power tools (these will not be provided by the shop)
Physical Requirements:
Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds Work with tools on vehicles lifted above head height Work in tight spaces as required by the repair Have the dexterity needed to efficiently use hand tools Walk/stand for the majority of the workday Drive manual transmission vehicles Comfortably navigate a computer and diagnostic equipment
Pay:
$25.00 - $50.00 per hour
