Oilfield / Industrial Services Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Water Transfer Operator to join our field operations team. This position is responsible for the setup, operation, monitoring, maintenance, and teardown of water transfer equipment at oilfield and industrial job sites. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable working outdoors in varied weather conditions, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Previous water transfer experience is highly preferred, particularly experience with poly pipe, lay-flat hose, transfer pumps, generators, and related equipment. Essential Job Duties Lay, connect, monitor, and pick up poly pipe, lay-flat hose, and other water transfer equipment. Operate and monitor transfer pumps, generators, and related equipment. Monitor gauges, pressure readings, and equipment operation; make adjustments as directed. Set up, inspect, service, and perform basic maintenance on pumps, generators, hoses, and related equipment. Load, unload, move, and properly secure equipment, materials, tools, and supplies for transportation. Assist with equipment setup, teardown, movement, and organization at job sites. Perform routine equipment inspections and report damage, leaks, malfunctions, or unsafe conditions. Use common hand and power tools as required. Drive company vehicles, trucks, and trailers as authorized. Assist with containment, spill response, cleanup, and proper disposal of materials. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, customers, and other personnel. Follow all company, customer, OSHA, DOT, and applicable safety requirements. Wear and properly use all required PPE. Attend and successfully complete required training. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous water transfer experience is highly preferred. Experience with poly pipe, lay-flat hose, pumps, generators, and related equipment is strongly preferred. Oilfield, industrial, construction, or field-service experience is a plus. Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools. Valid driver's license and safe driving record. Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork. Ability to work independently and follow instructions in a fast-paced field environment. Physical & Environmental Requirements Ability to work outdoors in rain, extreme heat and cold, high winds, ice, snow, dust, vibration, and other industrial conditions. Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking. Ability to perform physical labor, including bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, and handling equipment. Ability to individually lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely work around pumps, generators, vehicles, hoses, and other mechanical equipment.
