Key Responsibilities:

Performs complete inspections, repairs, rebuilds and replacements on all types of light and heavy equipment; includes welding and fabrication. Removes, rebuilds and replaces transmissions, differentials, clutches, brakes and motors. Repairs and replaces electrical components such as wiring, alternators, starters, windshield wipers, heaters and radios Diagnoses, repairs, rebuilds and overhauls systems and parts Performs preventative maintenance, ordering parts and supplies.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Two years of related experience Applicant must have a valid Colorado driver's license (CDL A preferred).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Broad knowledge of principles, practices and techniques used in the repair and maintenance of all light and heavy equipment; hazards and safety precautions common to a repair shop. Skilled in the use of hand tools, testing equipment, shop manuals, and shop equipment. Ability to perform skilled work on light and heavy equipment; welding, cutting and fabrication; ability to follow written and verbal instructions; keep accurate records.
