This energetic role offers the opportunity to provide critical support to drivers in need, ensuring safety and quick turnaround during roadside emergencies. As a Roadside Technician, you will perform repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting on a variety of vehicles, utilizing your mechanical expertise to deliver exceptional customer service in fast-paced environments. Your proactive approach and technical skills will help keep roads safe and drivers confident. Duties Respond promptly to roadside assistance calls, providing on-the-spot repairs or towing services as needed Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters Perform vehicle maintenance tasks including tire changes, battery jumps, fluid top-ups, and brake repairs Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive electrical systems to repair or replace faulty components Follow safety regulations diligently during all repair procedures and manual handling activities to ensure personal and team safety Interpret mechanical systems schematics to identify issues accurately and execute effective repairs Conduct vehicle inspections to assess damage or wear and recommend appropriate solutions for ongoing maintenance or repair Skills Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including diesel mechanics and automotive electrical systems Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments such as ohmmeters Experience with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) procedures in automotive or similar industries Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals for complex mechanical systems Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude during roadside interactions Knowledge of safety regulations relevant to vehicle repair and manual handling activities Familiarity with automotive service standards and troubleshooting techniques for mechanical repair Join us in delivering vital roadside assistance with enthusiasm and expertise!
