Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ASE Master Mechanic to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive mechanical expertise to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. As an ASE Master Mechanic, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our customers while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your leadership and technical knowledge will help uphold our reputation for excellence in automotive repair and maintenance. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and overhaul powertrain components, including transmissions, diesel engines, and other mechanical systems. Conduct vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacement, brake repairs, and suspension system repairs. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive tools to execute repairs efficiently. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems on various vehicle makes and models, including GM vehicles. Lead repair projects involving auto body repair estimates, auto estimating procedures, and heavy equipment mechanics when necessary. Ensure all work complies with dealership standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations while providing excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly to clients. Skills Extensive dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical repair. Proficiency in working with ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems), air brake systems, and automotive electrical systems. Deep knowledge of diesel engine repair, powertrain components, transmissions, and mechanical systems repair. Skilled in reading schematics and technical manuals for accurate troubleshooting. Experience working with heavy equipment mechanics and performing auto body repairs is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by the ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
