Smart Buy Auto Sales 380 S Broad St., Meriden, CT 06450 Competitive Pay Based on Experience | Full-Time | Immediate Opening Smart Buy Auto Sales is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing team. We are a busy, established dealership with a consistent workflow and a wide variety of vehicles. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on domestic and import vehicles. Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs accurately and efficiently. Complete vehicle reconditioning to dealership quality standards. Perform brake, steering, suspension, engine, transmission, heating and air conditioning, and electrical system repairs. Identify additional repair or maintenance needs and communicate them clearly. Maintain accurate repair documentation. Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe. Work with fellow technicians and management to keep vehicles moving through the shop efficiently. What We're Looking For 3+ years of professional automotive technician experience preferred. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities. Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Experience using scan tools and diagnostic equipment. ASE Certifications are a plus but not required. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. Reliable transportation. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to be part of a team.
