The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair, can diagnose mechanical issues accurately, and takes pride in providing quality workmanship. Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical vehicle issues Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake service, tire rotations, fluid checks, and tune-ups Repair and replace brakes, suspension components, batteries, belts, hoses, and other vehicle parts Diagnose engine, transmission, and electrical problems Use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify vehicle issues Perform vehicle inspections and identify repairs needed before vehicles are sold Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards Keep the work area, tools, and equipment clean and organized Communicate repair needs and vehicle conditions clearly with management Follow all workplace and automotive safety procedures Qualifications Previous automotive mechanic/technician experience preferred Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems Experience using automotive diagnostic equipment and repair tools Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Valid driver's license Ability to safely lift automotive parts and equipment and perform physical tasks associated with vehicle repair
