We want someone who can stay ahead of maintenance, identify problems early, and help us minimize equipment downtime. Responsibilities Perform routine preventative maintenance on company trucks and equipment Keep oil changes, filters, fluids, belts, batteries, tires, brakes, and other regular maintenance up to date Inspect equipment regularly and identify issues before they become major repairs Diagnose and repair mechanical problems. Maintain and service landscaping equipment including mowers and small-engine equipment Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting of larger equipment such as skid steers and mini excavators Check trailers, lights, connections, tires, and other components Keep simple maintenance and repair records for each truck and piece of equipment Let management know when parts are needed Help keep commonly needed maintenance parts and supplies stocked Make sure equipment is safe and ready for crews to use Equipment Includes Our fleet includes: Ford work trucks Commercial zero-turn and Walker mowers Caterpillar skid steer Mini excavator Trailers Lawn and landscaping equipment Small-engine equipment What We're Looking For Previous mechanic, fleet maintenance, landscaping equipment, construction equipment, or similar experience Comfortable working on both trucks and equipment Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Experience with gas and diesel equipment is a plus Experience with hydraulics and small engines is a plus Reliable and able to work independently Organized enough to keep track of preventative maintenance schedules Someone who takes ownership of keeping equipment running rather than waiting for something to break Schedule This is a part-time position with some flexibility in scheduling . We are looking for someone who can consistently stay on top of the fleet and equipment and be available when mechanical issues need attention. Compensation Pay based on experience and mechanical knowledge.
