Responsibilities Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, fluid replacements, tire rotations, and basic inspections to ensure optimal performance. Perform minor mechanical repairs including brake adjustments, belt replacements, and other standard passenger car services. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to diagnose issues and carry out repairs efficiently. Assist with wheel alignments, tire service, and automotive diagnostics to identify underlying problems accurately. Support automotive service operations by maintaining cleanliness of work areas and properly handling automotive fluids and parts. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs needed, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Assist senior technicians with more complex mechanical repairs as skill levels grow, gaining valuable hands-on experience. Qualifications Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of standard passenger vehicles and automotive systems. Experience with automotive diagnostics and the use of relevant tools for troubleshooting. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and automotive equipment for repairs and maintenance tasks. Knowledge of automotive fluid replacement procedures such as oil changes and coolant flushes. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a physically demanding environment. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward teamwork and learning new skills.
