Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician at the A Tech level to join our dynamic service team with minimum of 5 years automotive repair experience. In this role, you will perform a wide range of automotive repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring vehicles are operating safely and efficiently. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers, maintain vehicle performance, and uphold the highest standards of quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity for technicians eager to develop their skills and grow within a fast-paced dealership environment. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair a variety of automotive issues using advanced automotive diagnostics tools and schematics. Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements. Conduct complex repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines when applicable. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs efficiently. Work on ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations and alignments to ensure vehicle safety features function correctly. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic codes to identify root causes of problems. Maintain accurate documentation of repairs performed, including auto estimating procedures and service records. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while providing excellent customer service. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and diagnosing. Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engine repair. Proficiency in using automotive diagnostics equipment and reading schematics for troubleshooting complex issues. Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines. Familiarity with ADAS calibration procedures and vehicle alignment techniques. Strong understanding of auto estimating processes and customer service principles. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
