Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various systems including powertrain, electrical, and transmission components. Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems efficiently. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive service equipment to complete repairs with precision. Execute vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and system recalibrations to ensure safety and performance standards are met. Diagnose issues related to automotive electrical systems, including sensors, wiring harnesses, and control modules. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and offering recommendations for vehicle care and maintenance. Experience Prior dealership experience or service technician experience is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair across diverse vehicle makes and models. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive diagnostic software. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, transmissions, powertrain components, and alignment procedures. Demonstrated ability to perform auto estimating tasks accurately while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
