As an RV & Generator Mechanic, you'll play a hands-on role in keeping our customers safely on the road and confident in their RV. You won't just fix problems—you'll diagnose issues, perform reliable repairs, and ensure every unit meets our high standards for performance, safety, and quality. From diesel engines, generators, and drivetrains to inspections and preventative maintenance, your skill and attention to detail will directly impact customer satisfaction and shop efficiency. Your work helps keep our customers' RVs reliable and road-ready while protecting our reputation and turning one-time customers into long-term clients. What You'll Do ➢

Perform Mechanical Repairs:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain RV mechanical systems, including engines, chassis, suspension, braking, steering, and drivetrain components. ➢

Service Generators:

Diagnose, maintain, and repair onboard RV generators and associated mechanical and electrical systems. ➢

Inspect and Diagnose:

Use diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and mechanical knowledge to identify root causes and determine the appropriate repair. ➢

Troubleshoot Electrical & Mechanical Systems:

Diagnose issues involving interconnected mechanical, electrical, and power-generation systems. ➢

Preventative Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance services to ensure RVs remain safe, reliable, and road-ready. ➢ Collaborate with the

Team:

Work closely with Service Advisors, Foremen, and Technicians to ensure clear communication and efficient workflow. ➢

Deliver Quality Workmanship:

Complete all repairs with precision and pride, ensuring every RV meets our "10 out of 10 or we do it again" standard. ➢

Maintain Safety and Cleanliness:

Follow all safety procedures and keep a clean, organized work area at all times. ➢

Support Continuous Improvement:

Identify recurring mechanical issues and provide feedback to improve processes, training, and efficiency. ➢ Represent the

Who You Are ➢ A skilled, hands-on mechanic with a strong understanding of mechanical systems. ➢ Experienced in RV, automotive, diesel, or similar mechanical repair environments. ➢ Knowledge & experience diagnosing, servicing, or maintaining generators. RV generator experience is a plus but not required. ➢A medium- or heavy- duty fleet background is preferred, but not required. ➢ Detail-oriented, safety-focused, and committed to doing the job right the first time. ➢ A dependable team player who communicates clearly and performs well under pressure. ➢ A professional who takes pride in workmanship and customer trust. ➢ ASE, RVIA, or equivalent certification/experience is a plus.
