As an RV Lot Technician, you'll play a vital role in keeping our facility organized, efficient, and customer-ready. This isn't just about moving RVs—it's about ensuring units are staged properly, handled safely, and presented to customers in exceptional condition. You'll spend the majority of your time moving and staging RVs throughout our facility, supporting production flow, and ensuring technicians have access to the units they need when they need them. You'll also play an important role in preparing customer units for pickup through courtesy washes, final inspections, and presentation preparation. Your work directly impacts operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and our reputation for professionalism, quality, and hospitality. What You'll Do ➢
Stage and Move RVs:
Safely maneuver motorhomes, travel trailers, and fifth wheels throughout the facility to support production, service, storage, and customer pickup activities. ➢
Operate Material Handling Equipment:
Utilize forklifts to transport and position towable RVs and fifth wheels safely in staging areas, service bays, and storage locations. ➢
Support Production Flow:
Coordinate the movement of units between departments to ensure technicians and production teams can work efficiently without delays. ➢
Maintain Lot Organization:
Keep parking areas, drive lanes, storage locations, and staging zones organized, accessible, and professionally maintained. ➢ Prepare Units for
Customer Pickup:
Perform courtesy washes and exterior cleaning to ensure every customer receives their RV in clean, presentable condition. ➢
Conduct Final Delivery Inspections:
Complete detailed visual inspections of customer units prior to pickup, verifying cleanliness, presentation, and overall readiness. ➢
Operate Wash and Access Equipment:
Safely use pressure washers, aerial lifts, ladders, and related equipment to complete washing and inspection activities. ➢
Pick Up Parts and Materials:
Drive company vehicles to local vendors and suppliers to retrieve parts, materials, and operational supplies needed to support shop activities. ➢
Support Facility Operations:
Assist with shop cleanup, facility organization, and other operational tasks that help maintain a safe and productive work environment. ➢
Assist Where Needed:
Support technicians, service teams, and leadership with additional duties and responsibilities as business needs require. ➢
Promote Safety:
Follow all company safety procedures, vehicle handling guidelines, equipment operating practices, and facility protocols. ➢ Represent the

Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and team members while reflecting The RV Shop's commitment to hospitality and excellence. Who You Are ➢ A dependable, safety-focused individual who takes pride in keeping operations organized and running efficiently. ➢ Comfortable operating larger vehicles and maneuvering motorhomes, travel trailers, and fifth wheels in confined spaces. ➢ Experienced operating forklifts or willing to learn proper RV handling and transport procedures. ➢ Detail-oriented with the ability to identify cleanliness, presentation, or readiness concerns before customer pickup. ➢ Comfortable working at heights using aerial lifts, ladders, and other equipment required to inspect and wash RVs. ➢ Experience with vehicle washing, detailing, lot operations, transportation, equipment operation, or similar hands-on work is preferred. ➢ A team player who communicates clearly and works well in a fast-paced environment. ➢ Able to work independently, stay productive, and adapt to changing priorities throughout the day. ➢ Holds a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. ➢ Someone who understands that RVs are valuable investments and should be treated with care and professionalism.
