Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Automotive Technician to join our team and drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that every vehicle leaving our service bays meets the highest standards of safety, performance, and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced mechanics to showcase their technical proficiency and passion for automotive repair in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems, including electrical, mechanical, and powertrain components. Repair and maintain vehicles by replacing worn or damaged parts, including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and electrical wiring. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to accurately troubleshoot complex electrical problems. Conduct vehicle alignment procedures and suspension system repairs to ensure optimal handling and safety. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Diagnose and repair diesel engines as well as gasoline-powered vehicles, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly, offering maintenance advice, and ensuring a positive experience for every customer. Skills Proven dealership or service center experience with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and familiarity with advanced diagnostic tools. Extensive knowledge of vehicle systems including powertrain, transmission, electrical systems, and suspension components. Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately for electrical troubleshooting. Experience with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration and repair is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Service technician experience with auto estimating software is a plus.
