Duties Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid top-offs to keep vehicles running smoothly. Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify mechanical issues using specialized tools and equipment. Execute repairs including brake work, alignments, tire services, and mechanical repairs with attention to detail. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components. Assist with vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure safety standards are met or exceeded. Support the service team by maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including heavy lifting of parts and equipment. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Skills Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong understanding of vehicle systems. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on mechanic experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during maintenance tasks. Strong communication skills for effective customer interactions and teamwork. Knowledge of automotive maintenance procedures such as oil changes, alignments, tire servicing, and general repairs. Experience in sales or upselling additional services is a plus but not required.
