FLEET & EQUIPMENT

MECHANICKeep Our Fleet Running. Keep Our Crews Moving. White Diamond Landscape is looking for a dependable, hands-on Fleet & Equipment Mechanic to maintain our landscaping trucks, trailers, mowers, loaders, and small-engine equipment. This is an important role in keeping our crews safe, productive, and ready to go every day. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to details, and can identify problems before they become major repairs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on landscaping trucks and fleet vehicles Perform regular oil changes, fluid checks, and filter replacements Inspect brakes, tires, lights, and other safety components Check all truck and trailer lights and connections before equipment leaves the shop Diagnose and repair mowers and small landscaping equipment Perform maintenance and repairs on small engines and power equipment Grease and maintain loaders and heavy equipment Perform preventative maintenance to reduce unexpected breakdowns Identify mechanical issues and recommend repairs when needed Keep equipment properly serviced, organized, and ready for daily operations Maintain basic maintenance records and communicate repair needs to management Keep the shop and work area clean, safe, and organized

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Previous experience as a mechanic, fleet mechanic, small-engine mechanic, or equipment mechanic Experience working with landscaping equipment is a strong plus Knowledge of trucks, trailers, mowers, loaders, and small engines Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems and perform repairs Strong attention to safety and preventative maintenance Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently Must have your own basic mechanic hand tools Valid driver's license required
