Job Description
We are a heavy civil highway/bridge general contractor seeking an experienced heavy equipment mechanic for our shop.
Main Position Responsibilities:
- Repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems on all types of construction equipment, including welding and fabrication.
- Must be able to perform oil changes, air/hydraulic brake service, transmission work & general maintenance.
- Troubleshooting equipment maintenance problems to properly diagnose components to determine the method and extent of repair necessary.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is maintained to top standards with proper record keeping.
