Job Description
Kingdom Motorsports is a full-service automotive repair, maintenance, and customization shop serving Groveland and the surrounding Central Florida area. We work on everything from everyday vehicles to trucks, Jeeps, SUVs, performance vehicles, and customized builds. Our services include general automotive repair and maintenance, diagnostics, suspension work, lift and leveling kits, lowering kits, wheels and tires, alignments, and aftermarket upgrades. We are looking for an experienced, dependable Automotive Technician to join our growing team. Position Summary The Automotive Technician will be responsible for accurately diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and modifying customer vehicles while maintaining Kingdom Motorsports' standards for workmanship, safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with both general automotive repair and aftermarket/custom workand who takes pride in doing the job correctly. Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, electrical, suspension, steering, braking, and drivability concerns Perform general automotive repairs and preventative maintenance Perform oil changes, fluid services, tune-ups, and routine maintenance Diagnose and repair brake systems Diagnose and repair steering and suspension systems Perform engine and cooling-system repairs Perform electrical and diagnostic work based on technician experience Install shocks, struts, control arms, and other suspension components Install lift kits, leveling kits, and lowering kits Install aftermarket suspension and performance components Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires Perform wheel and tire installations Perform alignments and suspension adjustments Inspect vehicles and identify needed or recommended repairs Accurately document vehicle conditions, diagnostic findings, and recommended repairs Communicate with service staff regarding repair findings, parts needed, and estimated completion times Perform quality-control inspections before vehicles are returned to customers Maintain an organized and clean work area Properly use and maintain shop equipment and tools Follow all shop safety procedures and manufacturer repair specifications Assist with custom vehicle builds and aftermarket projects as needed
