JOB DESCRIPTION
Employees in this job perform a variety of routine maintenance tasks on company equipment, primarily focusing on checking and replenishing of engine oils and other fluids like transmission fluid and coolant, lubricating moving parts, inspecting equipment all while adhering to safety regulations and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
RESPONSIBLITIES
include but not limited to: Safely fueling of company equipment daily at several jobsites using proper procedures and equipment. Perform daily inspections of machines for any leaks, worn components and potential safety hazards. Visual inspections of equipment to diagnose any existing issues and reporting them to Field Service Superintendent to be addressed. Oil changes - draining oil, replacing oil filters and adding new oil according to manufacturer specifications as needed. Fuel level checks and lubrication of equipment Maintaining tools and equipment properly and ensuring proper disposal of hazardous materials. Ensure that Fuel Truck is in proper work condition and stocked with all supplies needed daily. Performing other related duties as assigned by the maintenance department.
REQUIREMENTS
Hazmat, Tanker Endorsement and CDL Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems Ability to follow safety procedures relating to oil handling and fuel dispensing Physical ability to work under vehicles or heavy equipment when needed. Good communications skills to interact with Field Service Superintendent and company field personnel to perform tasks
