Full Job Description Auto/Truck Mechanic Position:

Full-Time Location:

Lantana, FL Job Description:

Perform necessary maintenance and repairs. Diagnosis repair and replacement of general automotive parts and accessories. General services for brakes, suspension, engine performance, fuel systems, exhaust systems, A/C systems, and specialty installations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance work on trucks and vehicles
• Uses technical manuals and computer equipment to diagnose and correct problems.
• General repairs on equipment and trucks including electrical, tires, oil changes, hoses, and air leaks.
• Complete paperwork such as time sheets and parts requests.
• Assist with diagnosis and repairs of systems including engine, transmission, power train.

Requirements:

• 5+ years gasoline/diesel auto/truck maintenance experience.
• Must have own tool set to perform basic job functions.
• Ability to read and troubleshoot repair on brakes, suspensions, wheels, hubs and steering systems.
• Ability to change, plug and patch tires for DOT trucks and trailers.
• Ability to utilize a variety of advisory data and information such as electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Clean MVR.
