Duties Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Prepare detailed repair estimates using estimating software, ensuring transparency and accuracy Communicate effectively with customers about recommended services, repairs, and costs to facilitate informed decisions Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, brake repairs, shocks & struts, transmissions, suspension work, and collision repairs to maximize shop productivity Collaborate closely with service technicians to relay customer concerns and ensure timely completion of repairs Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments and issuing receipts Maintain comprehensive service records and documentation for each vehicle serviced Qualifications Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or Service Writer in a dealership or independent repair shop setting Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and repair procedures Proficiency with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools Hands-on experience with auto service management systems and dealership operations is highly desirable Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or understand technical repair processes such as oil changes, wheel alignments, tire service, brake repairs, shocks & struts replacements, transmission work, suspension diagnostics, and collision repair estimates Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Customer service-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to sales and upselling opportunities Embark on a career where your automotive expertise fuels customer satisfaction!
