Responsibilities Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and applying surface primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Mix and match paints accurately using color matching techniques to achieve a perfect finish. Operate conventional spray guns, airless paint sprayers, and automotive buffing tools to apply coatings smoothly and efficiently. Conduct automotive buffing and polishing to achieve a high-gloss, professional appearance. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use. Communicate effectively with team members regarding vehicle status and repair processes. Experience Prior experience or hands-on work in auto body shops is highly preferred. Experience operating spray guns (conventional or airless), grinders, buffing machines, and other power tools required for auto painting and refinishing. Knowledge of automotive paints, coatings, primers, and finishing products is essential.
