This role is essential in providing efficient vehicle maintenance and ensuring customer satisfaction through expert oil changes and related services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, dealership experience, or mechanic work, with a focus on delivering high-quality service. Candidates should possess mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand tools and power tools, and a commitment to safety and customer service excellence. Responsibilities Perform oil changes efficiently while adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety protocols Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential issues such as tire wear, alignment needs, or mechanical problems Assist with tire service, wheel alignments, and basic vehicle maintenance tasks Use hand tools and power tools to perform repairs, replacements, and diagnostics Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored after use Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate Assist with vehicle diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify mechanical or electronic issues Support the team with general maintenance tasks as needed to ensure smooth shop operations Skills Automotive repair background preferred Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and repair Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostics equipment Experience with oil change procedures, tire service, wheel alignment, and general vehicle servicing Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments Knowledge of automotive service standards and safety regulations Sales skills are a plus for recommending additional services or products to customers Mechanical aptitude coupled with a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and repair tasks
