Duties Greet customers warmly and gather detailed information about their RV issues to accurately document service requests Collaborate with technicians to develop precise repair estimates using estimating software and mechanical diagnostics tools Explain repair procedures, costs, and timelines clearly to customers, ensuring transparency and building trust Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, alignments, suspension repairs, brake work, shocks & struts, and transmission diagnostics to maximize customer value Manage the flow of repair orders from intake through completion while maintaining detailed records of all transactions Communicate effectively with clients regarding vehicle status updates and answer any questions related to automotive repair or collision repairs Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments securely while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times Skills Proven experience in auto service writing or dealership service departments with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire services, alignments, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, transmissions, and collision repairs Familiarity with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools for precise quoting Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Sales acumen with a focus on upselling services that meet customer needs while enhancing revenue opportunities Experience in auto estimating, auto service management, and understanding dealership operations is highly desirable Ability to handle cash transactions accurately along with strong organizational skills to manage multiple repair orders efficiently Join us as an RV Service Writer where your enthusiasm for RV repair combined with exceptional client communication will drive success.
