Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmission, suspension, steering, brakes, and electrical components. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment to complete repairs efficiently. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems effectively. Repair or replace vehicle components such as transmissions, differentials, axles, and suspension systems to restore vehicle functionality. Conduct wheel alignments and suspension system repairs to ensure proper vehicle handling and safety standards. Maintain detailed service records, perform auto estimating for repairs, and communicate findings clearly to customers. Qualifications Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Knowledge of FDRS technology and ability to calibrate or troubleshoot these systems. Familiarity with schematics interpretation, automotive wiring diagrams, and electrical systems troubleshooting. Mechanical knowledge across various vehicle components including powertrains, transmissions, diesel engines, and vehicle suspension systems. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures for Ford vehicles or similar brands is preferred. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair machinery. Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Ability to read technical manuals and automotive wiring diagrams accurately.
