Job Overview We are looking for a skilled Automotive Technician - A to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles with a focus on delivering top-tier automotive service. The ideal candidate will have dealership experience and a strong mechanical background, ready to take on diverse repair tasks with enthusiasm and precision. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and other mechanical systems. Execute routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Repair and replace automotive electrical components, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, and other specialized systems. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to complete repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems effectively. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Experience Proven dealership or automotive repair industry experience with a focus on automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems repair. Familiarity with ADAS technology, air brake systems, transmissions, diesel engine repair, and heavy equipment mechanics is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience working with vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes and suspension repairs. Proficiency in using automotive schematics, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software is preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience working with GM vehicles or similar brands is advantageous.
