Journeyman Fleet Mechanic Utility Industry Faith Electric is seeking an experienced Journeyman Fleet Mechanic to support our growing operations throughout Georgia. Our Georgia team operates out of College Park Georgia but has crews throughout the state as well as regional storm-response operations. Faith Electric provides high- and low-voltage electrical and telecommunications construction and repair services to utility, telecommunications, commercial, and industrial customers. The Opportunity We are looking to fill an immediate opening for a full-time Journeyman Fleet Mechanic supporting our line-construction operations in Georgia. Our fleet includes bucket trucks, digger derricks, pullers, tensioners, pole trailers, pickup trucks, and other specialized line-construction equipment. The fleet includes Freightliner, International, Ford, Dodge/Ram, and other manufacturers. The successful candidate must have strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, repair, and preventative-maintenance capabilities applicable to heavy trucks and specialized utility construction equipment. The mechanic will also support regional storm-response operations, which may require travel, extended hours, overnight stays, and temporary assignments supporting remote yards and field crews. Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on fleet vehicles and specialized line-construction equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Order and receive parts required for repairs and maintenance.
• Generate and maintain accurate records and logs of vehicle and equipment repairs.
• Maintain clear communication with field employees, operations, fleet management, and other team members.
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean shop and work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and required procedures.
• Travel to job sites, remote yards, and field locations as required.
• Participate in regional storm-response operations when required.
• Be available to work daily overtime and mandatory weekends as needed.
• Must have computer skills and be capable of entering daily work activity, repair information, and time through the company platform.

Compensation:

We have included an hourly range of $40 to $55, but final pay will be determined based on experience and qualifications. Faith Electric is continuing to expand its operations throughout Georgia and the Southeast, creating an opportunity for the right mechanic to become an important part of our growing field-support team.

Pay:
