PURPOSE Through direct interaction with drivers, determine maintenance and/or mechanical related issues with equipment and create descriptive repair information for repairing technician.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Interpret driver issues and create descriptive repair information for repairing technician. Schedule service and repairs in the shop through consultation with the shift supervisor. Monitor and report estimated time of completion for driver and Operations. Create and update purchase orders for parts and units at local vendors. Provide prompt and courteous customer service for our driver team members.

QUALIFICAT IONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

High School diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with Class 8 vehicle equipment.
