Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, steering, and electrical components. Conduct ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations and repairs to ensure modern vehicle safety features operate correctly. Service heavy equipment and diesel engines, including oil changes, air brake systems, shocks & struts, and tire services. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to execute repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and auto estimating software to determine repair procedures and costs. Maintain detailed records of all work performed and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and maintenance recommendations. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive background in automotive repair industry with a focus on GM vehicles preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical systems including powertrain, transmission repair, mechanical systems repair, and suspension system repair. Expertise in automotive diagnostics with experience working on ADAS, electrical systems, and diesel engine repair. Familiarity with schematics interpretation, auto estimating software, and diagnostic equipment for precise troubleshooting. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Ability to work efficiently on transmissions, brake repair, wheel alignment, shocks & struts replacement, tire service, and oil changes while maintaining high quality standards.
