Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on various vehicle systems using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drive systems, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications. Repair and replace vehicle suspension systems, steering components, and alignments to optimize handling and safety. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams to troubleshoot electrical systems such as automotive electrical systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and other vehicle electronics. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently and safely. Must have a valid Drivers License Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly, estimating costs accurately, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Qualifications Proven dealership or service technician experience with a solid understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures. Strong mechanical knowledge across vehicle systems including powertrain, transmission, suspension, electrical wiring, and ADAS technology. Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools, schematics interpretation, and automotive wiring diagrams. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and transmission system repairs. Familiarity with auto estimating software is a plus; ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and power equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with effective communication abilities to deliver top-tier customer service. Valid mechanic experience with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards in automotive repair environments; dealership experience is highly desirable.
