Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems. Conduct repairs and maintenance on powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and diesel engine systems. Repair and replace vehicle suspension systems, alignments, steering components, and wheel assemblies to ensure optimal handling. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems such as automotive electrical systems and potentially ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs involving welding, vehicle transmission system repair, and general maintenance tasks. Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical systems, including sensors, wiring harnesses, and electronic modules. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle safety standards are met or exceeded. Skills Proven service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Proficiency in interpreting automotive wiring diagrams and schematics for complex electrical troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with alignment procedures and vehicle transmission system repair. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including powertrain, suspension, steering, brakes, and diesel engines. Skilled in the use of automotive diagnostic tools and electronic testing equipment to identify issues efficiently. Familiarity with auto estimating software for accurate repair quoting and documentation. Ability to work with various hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair machinery confidently.
