3007319122-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Cox Automotive is seeking an Auto Maintenance Technician II for our weekend shift. In this role, you'll perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of vehicles that support our remarketing and mobility operations. You'll handle routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards. Working in a collaborative, people-first environment, you'll use modern tools and systems, receive ongoing technical training, and help keep Cox Automotive's fleet and equipment operating reliably. Responsibilities Perform routine and preventative maintenance on a variety of vehicles and automotive systems to support Cox Automotive operations Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals Complete repairs on brakes, engines, steering, suspension, and drivetrains in accordance with safety and quality standards Document work performed, parts used, and inspection findings accurately in maintenance systems Collaborate with teammates and supervisors to prioritize work orders and meet service-level timelines on weekend shift Follow Cox Automotive and OSHA safety procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work area Communicate repair needs, timelines, and recommendations clearly to supervisors and internal customers Participate in ongoing technical training to stay current on evolving automotive technology and equipment Required Skills Automotive diagnostics Brake systems repair Engine repair and maintenance Electrical systems troubleshooting Hydraulic systems maintenance Preventative maintenance procedures Use of automotive scan tools Reading technical manuals and schematics Shop safety and OSHA compliance Maintenance documentation and work order systems
