Acute Care Required Qualifications Active Illinois RN license BLS (AHA) required Recent ICU or Intermediate Care (Stepdown) experience with 3:1 or 2:1 patient ratios Progressive Care (PCU) or Telemetry experience alone is NOT sufficient Strong experience with: Tracheostomy and ventilator patients BiPAP/CPAP Chest tubes Central lines/PICC lines NG tubes/G-tubes Cardiac, respiratory, neuro, and medical patients Experience titrating vasoactive medications

Travelers float first May float to: ICU (if experienced) Other Stepdown units General Medical units #
