Looking to further your career in the Automotive Repair industry? Rod Baker Ford in Plainfield has an opening for a skilled Automotive Technician to work in our state of the art Mobile Service Unit. Schedule :
Full Time Hours may vary depending on appointment scheduling times. Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 4:30pm, with a 1 hour lunch break. Typical work week~ 45-50 hours/week.

Responsibilities:
This is a customer facing position requiring you to complete off site inspections & light repairs Use dealer
DMS & OEM
diagnostic tools to complete repair orders Maintain mobile truck cleanliness & inventory to ensure effectiveness in the field Maintain OEM training certifications Maintain an inspection & upsell process, refer work to shop that cannot be completed in the field Skills Excellent knowledge of mechanical & electrical systems of vehicles Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods Willingness to abide by all safety protocol put in place by employer Ability to communicate professionally & effectively with customers
Experience:
Automotive Technician:
2 years (Required)
Dealership:
2 years or more (Preferred)
Diesel Repair:
2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
