Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Service vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and brake repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Repair and replace automotive electrical systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, and other specialized components with precision. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to complete repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems effectively. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicles are returned in top condition. Qualifications Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive systems including diesel engine repair, transmissions, suspension systems, and electrical diagnostics. Skilled in using diagnostic software and understanding automotive electrical systems. Ability to work with schematics and mechanical diagrams for precise repairs. Experience with heavy equipment mechanics or diesel mechanics is a plus. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools. Knowledge of GM vehicles or similar makes is advantageous but not required. Excellent customer service skills coupled with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
