We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ford Journeyman Technician to join our automotive service team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive mechanical expertise to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Your hands-on experience with complex Ford systems will be essential in delivering top-tier service. Potential to earn up to $150k per year depending on certificates, skills, and training. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain vehicles with a focus on powertrain systems, engines, and vehicle maintenance protocols. Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all repairs performed in accordance with dealership standards. Requirements Proven dealership experience as a Ford Journeyman Technician or equivalent mechanic role with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and electrical troubleshooting techniques. Hands-on experience with ADAS systems calibration, alignment procedures, and vehicle electrical repairs. Mechanical expertise across various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmission, brakes, suspension, and auto body repair. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools safely and effectively. Strong understanding of automotive service procedures with excellent problem-solving skills. Certifications/working toward certification or experience related to Ford vehicles or similar brands is required.
