Job Summary Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Automotive Mechanic, where your expertise will drive vehicle performance and customer satisfaction to new heights! In this energetic role, you will be required to repair, and replace engines & transmission on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and fluid replacements to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy equipment mechanics techniques to execute repairs efficiently. Work with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and other automotive electrical systems to calibrate and repair modern vehicles. Follow manufacturer specifications and schematics for complex repairs on GM vehicles and other makes/models. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Requirements Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including diesel engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, and electrical components. Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and auto estimating software is highly desirable. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of heavy equipment mechanics or diesel mechanics is a plus. Valid certification or license in automotive repair or related field; ASE certification is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and repairs. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. $26.18 - $31.53 per hour
