Job Description

Join Our Team! Premier Transportation is seeking Mobile Trailer Mechanic with a minimum of 2 years of experience to support our growing fleet. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing a variety of diesel trucks and buses but also has the ability to assess new technology and apply the findings to their specific position. We are looking for a skilled technician that has at least 2 years of experience with trailer repair, welding, and fabricating, The ideal candidate will also have strong communication skills and enjoy collaborating with coworkers, as well as working in a high-pressure environment and being responsible for professional truck repairs.
Responsibilities:
Shift:
(Mon-Fri) 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (Weekends as needed) Troubleshoot and repair problems with diesel engines. Use computers to perform diagnostics. You will maintain proficiency in the diagnosis and repair of all assigned equipment. Determine trailer condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests Perform system repairs to include 2 years air brakes and FHWA inspections Perform drive up maintenance repairs on trucks, trailers & liftgates under pressure Truck/Trailer/liftgate PM's Diagnostic & repair with liftgate electrical & hydraulic systems Diagnosis and repair of check engine light, HVAC systems, and basic knowledge of diesel engines. Troubleshooting of electrical wiring, ABS and components Repair/replacement of brake and suspension items Experience in welding is preferred Restocking service truck with inventory daily Communicate with management and receive instruction Insert work orders daily of repairs made Operate service truck in weather conditions and respond to mobile service calls
