Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately. Repair and overhaul various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, and vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently. Work with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and auto electrical systems to enhance vehicle safety features. Follow manufacturer specifications and schematics for complex repairs on vehicles as required. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and communicate effectively with customers about their vehicle's condition and recommended services. Qualifications Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including gas and diesel engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspension systems, brakes, and electrical components. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics for accurate troubleshooting. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools safely and effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Knowledge of automotive repair standards for both gasoline and diesel engines; experience working on various vehicles is advantageous. Mechanical aptitude combined with strong problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
