Job Description

BEST ONE TIRE & SERVICE
is seeking an Automotive Lube Technician to perform oil changes, fluid services, tire rotations, and basic vehicle inspections in a fast-paced retail environment. You will follow manufacturer and shop procedures, document services, and help keep bays, tools, and equipment clean and safe. Technicians assist with mounting and balancing tires, replacing filters, and checking brakes, batteries, and lights. The role involves clear communication with service advisors, delivering honest, customer-focused recommendations, and supporting teammates. Training and growth opportunities are available across our expanding tire and automotive service network. Responsibilities Perform oil changes, fluid exchanges, and basic lube services per manufacturer guidelines Conduct multipoint inspections, checking brakes, tires, fluids, filters, lights, and batteries Mount, dismount, rotate, and balance tires safely using proper equipment Document services performed and note additional maintenance needs for advisors and customers Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and follow all safety procedures Use basic diagnostic tools to identify simple maintenance issues Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle status Follow company policies, repair standards, and quality control procedures Assist teammates with shop tasks and support a positive, team-focused environment Participate in ongoing training to improve technical skills and product knowledge Required Skills Oil change and lubrication services Tire mounting, balancing, and rotation Vehicle inspection and documentation Basic brake and fluid inspection Use of automotive lifts and shop equipment Safety and OSHA compliance in a shop environment Basic diagnostic and testing tools Customer communication and service writing support Time management in a fast-paced shop Reading and following service procedures
